Ancestral & Systemic Healing...And The Known & Unknown Waters

Dear Reader,

What waters are you swimming?

Many of you have come to this little postage stamp of the interwebs, my newsletter, from far and wide and some are hyper local. And a special thank you to the new readers, who've found me over the past few months.

What waters am I swimming in collectively, systemically, somatically, energetically...?
Here in the greater Washington, DC area, as long as much of the East Coast, we're still knee deep in the snowcrete (read snow that became ice...the first real winter in a decade), as well as the ICE that has infiltrated this country, dismantling the Washington Post, and the 300 million tons of sewage that spilled into Lock 10 on the Potomac River.

I'm with...
*my almost 15 yo daughter, as a single mama
*the final weeks of navigating year 47
*my home, the Doeg land I steward, and our dog
*the first solar term, early spring, and the arrival the Feng Shui New Year, the Year of the Fire Horse, on February 4th
*my individual clients, annual group, The Women's Legacy Collective that met this weekend, and a men's retreat that I've been asked to facilitate and their systemic fields, intentions, challenges, and the void (the in between the known and unknown)
*the larger community that has journeyed with me for nearly 14 years and their lived, ancestral, and systemic layers
*the cycles of change from decades to centuries to eons past with resources, victim perpetrator bonds, and belonging
*and so much more

Washed in the waters of Western medicine and psychology, there are so many gifts, and nothing is perfect. An overcorrection of sorts has been in our midst: change oneself with (tremendous) individual effort. There is a place for these modalities and perspectives, and when it is right sized, they are effective.

Other waters that have created confusion are what are commonly known as spiritual bypassing. When we are in right relationship with what is bigger than us, our sense of belonging, safety, and knowing what tasks are ours are clear.

Navigating the collective waters of change, uncertainty and our longings, our gifts, skills, and wisdom can be supportive. The exceptions arise when no matter what we do, believe, or know, doesn't shift the needle or have any effect you, the waters, or your ability to float. Even the most skilled swimmers need help with these aspects of the waters that aren't solely personal or spiritual, which are parts of the Systemic field.

If you don't really get the Systemic Field...I've got you. I'm sharing more about the Systemic Field in my free course.

My contribution to the Becoming the 2026 Visionary: A Self-Led Leadership Library is An Introduction to the Systemic Field and Objects Constellations. It is a 2 hour learning experience about what has come before you and how to work with you and your field and how to move forward. If you've been curious about your systemic field or what it even is, this is a rich previously recorded workshop with many practical take aways. Some participants discuss finding partnership with ancestral connections to codependency others are explore fears that won't budge, and a a few are birthing projects and books.

Becoming the 2026 Visionary: A Self-Led Leadership FREE Library, is curated by Andrea Tessier, my friend and colleague. It's a collection of resources for visionaries, leaders, coaches, healers, creators, and soul-led entrepreneurs, who care deeply about how they show up in the world.

For every new subscriber who joins the library, Andrea is donating $1 to The Daily Bread Food Bank, an organization doing essential work to ensure individuals and families can meet their basic needs with dignity.

While this organization is local to where Andrea lives in Canada, the reality we’re responding to isn’t unique. Food insecurity is rising everywhere, and local food banks are often the first place people turn when they need support.

Inside the library, you’ll find soul-aligned tools exploring intuition, emotional clarity, embodiment, boundaries, and self-led decision-making, including my course on Objects Constellations and the Systemic Field.

By signing up, you gain access to a rich library of free support, and your signup supports families accessing food through The Daily Bread Food Bank.

Sign up for free before February 28 HERE.

May you find new ways to navigate the waters of the known and unknown with your Systemic Field.

In Service and Generosity,
Amy

Hi { subscriber.first_name }},People ask me for help with more than you can imagine. Just in the last week or so, I've been asked to help with: • Clearing the energy of a home after a complex guest visited and smudging wasn't cutting it • What to do when an ear ache isn't moving with antibiotics • How to rebalance breathing when wheezing returns after 3 months • How to work with desire (beyond sex) in a long-term marriage where one partner is shut down • How to shift from looking for and...

Hello Reader,Seeing some of the 2016 reviews has invited me to sit with what I know to be true now that I didn't know then. The map of our lives is both more nuanced and simple than we could ever imagine. In 2016, there were many collective ethos that we swam in. Depending on the shape and form of your journey and your awareness of the map of your life, you may have been met by highs and lows or had a specific texture or taste that overlaid the map. Now, you're able to notice with perspective...

Hello Reader, I’m honored to be a guest on one of my client’s Astrology with Heather’s youtube and podcast episodes. She’s all about helping you actually work with the astrology, not just understand the transits intellectually, but feel them move your life forward in real, tangible ways. And as we navigate crossing the threshold 2026, a year where energy finally begins to flow again after the bizarre endings and limbo zone of 2025. She invited me on so that you have every tool available to...
